OBI and IDO Training Videos Now Available

23 October 2024

The Ontology-Based Interoperability (OBI) and Industrial Data Ontology (IDO) ISO 23726-3 training program is in full swing, and we are would like to announce that videos from the sessions are now available for participants and the wider community. As the program progresses, we will continue to publish new videos after each session to ensure the content is accessible to everyone.

Objectives
  • Provide necessary training of modelling and subject matter experts to enable creation of modular ontologies and reference data based on ISO 23726-3 IDO

  • Enable the participants to use IDO to develop interoperability between major standardized data models and reference data libraries like DEXPI, CFIHOS, PCA reference data, ISO 15926, ISO 10303, etc.

  • Clarify the role of IDO within the Information Modelling Framework (IMF)

The training has been developed for
  • DISC

  • Arrowhead for Flexible Production Value Networks (Arrowhead fPVN)

  • Integrated Lifecycle Asset Planning (ILAP)

Deliverables
  • Content sessions – Presentation and discussion of major standardized data models and reference data libraries

  • Q&A sessions

  • Practical modelling sessions in smaller groups
