Important updates to posccaesar.org

We are pleased to announce that posccaesar.org have undergone a significant update, aimed at improving your experience with our platform. These changes have now been implemented and are part of our ongoing effort to make navigation simpler and more intuitive for all users.
Why the Update?
Over time, our website has grown to include numerous services, which has made it increasingly difficult for users to find the information they need. We understand your frustration, and that's why we're streamlining these services into a more cohesive and user-friendly experience.
Currently, the following services are spread across multiple URLs:
https://data.posccaesar.org: This site hosts ISO 15926 reference data, such as this example.
https://rds.posccaesar.org: This site holds IDO and PLM data, such as this example and this one.
Additionally, we have multiple staging environments, which can cause confusion.
What’s Changing?
Our primary goal is to consolidate these services under posccaesar.org while shifting from static HTML pages to more dynamic, easy-to-update content. This will also allow us to publish news articles, like this one, directly on the site without needing to involve our development team.

Reference terms and types at this URL.

This consolidation is important because some of our existing URLs are incorrect, such as the one for IMF blocks. After the update, for example, the correct URL to access the information about the temperature transmitter will be: https://posccaesar.org/imf/blocks/463855bb-b549-4fd7-a019-440a27da2556.
Impact on Content and Features
One key objective is to manage our website content more efficiently. However, due to challenges with our current CMS (Wix), some dynamic features will be temporarily unavailable after the update. These include:
Interactive events, such as the DISC Show & Tell 2024 held in September.
Membership applications.
Newsletter subscriptions.
Participation in PCA groups.
While these features will be offline for a short time, we are actively working to restore them and ensure they are fully functional again soon.
